As a Lead Quality Engineer SDET Mobile Apps, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Quality Engineering team reporting to the Director of Quality Engineering you will support projects including Hilton.com and other Hilton software applications.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

Research, develop, and initiate advanced automated testing methodologiesDefine processes for test design and executionParticipate in Agile ceremoniesDesign and write automated test scripts for our Mobile Apps

How you will collaborate with others:

You will contribute along with technical and process team members like App Dev, DevOps, QE, Product, Design and more to develop testing methodologiesYou will collaborate with our application development teams to understand application architecture, risks, and quality needs.You will influence the development of a quality automation plan that considers our software development lifecycle, manual testing, and integrated systems in collaboration with QE leadership.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

You will focus on our quality engineering strategy for Hiltons mobile applications including Android and iOS platforms.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related fieldThree (3) years of professional experience in the field of quality automationExperience with Kotlin or SwiftExperience with UI testing tools (i.e. XCUITest or Paparazzi)Experience with a variety of testing methodologies such as Snapshot, Functionality, API, Unit, Component and moreExperience using Git-based version control systemsThis is a hybrid role and would require to be near our Dallas or Memphis office locationTravel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology-related experienceOne year of supervisory experience in Quality AssuranceHands-on automation experience with large-scale enterprise software productsExperience building mobile applications using Kotlin or SwiftExperience with test automation SaaS platforms
