What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.

Shift Details

7:00 am to 3:30 pm - Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Provides technical guidance and training

Perform analysis and inspection of materials, labels, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.Responsible for engaging and working with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering. Train the trainer for QA Techs Performs investigations, deviations, change controls and CAPAs.Reviews & processes DHRs, Pyrogen samples, & NCRs

Qualifications

4+ years of experience, preferredHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignmentsDemonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilityTakes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignmentsMay provide technical guidance and training to othersMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issueMakes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementationAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks with minimal degree of supervisionHas latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelinesProvides guidance to less experienced team membersMay have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise

Anticipated hourly range: $22.40 per hour - $32.00 per hour
