Volt has partnered with a top company in La Vergne, TN to help identify a Lead Production Tech to start ASAP.
As a Lead Production Tech you will:
Be responsible for leading Operations staff and assisting in the area of performing testing of servers on a production floor Ensures all personnel are adequately trained and that all training is documented properly. Provides daily work assignments to assigned personnel to in order to meet established production goals. Resolves all functional test issues (Quality, Processing, Repair, etc.) as they arise. Ensure transactions into Test monitoring system are properly entered to provide accurate data which provides traceability of test progress and history. Provide accurate and timely departmental reports. Prepares individual performance reviews for personnel assigned. Drive & Maintain 5s Metrics & Drive a Safe Working Environment. Lead Testing to meet shipment target for all units undergoing functional testing. Promote a culture of process excellence through exceeding quality metrics. Meet daily & weekly goals for testing output. Control/manage inventory levels assigned to test area. Improve plant audit performance and work environment. Provide instruction and training to assigned personnel on proper procedures and regulations ensuring appropriate documentation is completed, timely and accurately. Train and motivate employees through effective communication.This position is temp to hire. We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shift. Hours are 7am – 3:30pm and 4pm – 1:30am.
Requirements:
1 – 2 years of production lead experience Preferred experience in computer testing, server testing or any repair tech experience in a manufacturing environment Be able to pass a 7 year criminal pre-employment background check and drug testPay Rate: $24.50/hr
