Alteryx, Inc. is looking for a Lead Product Manager on the Data Connectivity team, with an emphasis on end2end product management. Data Connectivity is a product portfolio that focuses on providing connectivity and connection management to a wide array of Alteryx-supported data sources (files, databases, cloud apps, etc.), with the goal of providing the best-in-class connectors and seamless connection experience. This role sits in the Product Management organization and owns the strategy and execution on one of the key product areas within the portfolio. You will work cross-functionally as a member of the Product team and closely with other product counterparts and engineering teams in driving roadmap and execution.
Responsibilities:
Drive strategic direction and vision for the Data Connectivity product area, ensuring alignment with broader platform and company goals.
Own and lead the product roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, optimizing for customer impact, scalability, and business value.
Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, GTM, and executive leadership to define and deliver product priorities.
Establish and manage KPIs and success metrics to guide decision-making and continuously improve product performance and adoption.
Lead cross-functional teams in translating complex technical and business requirements into clear and actionable plans, balancing short-term milestones with long-term strategy.
Champion innovation and technical excellence, ensuring that data connectivity experiences are seamless, secure, and modern across on-prem and cloud environments.
Serve as a voice of the customer and market, driving feature definition and prioritization based on deep understanding of user needs, partner input, and competitive landscape.
Mentor and guide junior product managers or peers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative product culture.
Represent the product organization externally by supporting strategic customer conversations, partner integrations, and evangelizing the roadmap.
Requirements:
7+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated leadership in building and scaling enterprise or data-focused software products.
Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, lead multi-team initiatives, and deliver business results.
Deep understanding of data platforms, connectivity patterns, authentication mechanisms, and modern cloud architectures (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS).
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science); advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
Experience in cross-functional leadership, driving alignment between engineering, design, sales, support, and customers.
Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of data-driven decision-making and product performance measurement.
Strong execution discipline, paired with curiosity and strategic foresight to anticipate industry shifts and user needs.
Experience with Alteryx Designer / Server or adjacent data/BI tools is a plus.
