Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all process engineering activities for offshore projects during FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC/EPCI phases. Act as the discipline lead and main technical interface for process engineering with clients, licensors, project management, vendors, and other engineering disciplines. Supervise and coordinate a team of process engineers and designers, including work planning, technical guidance, and review/approval of deliverables. Develop, review, and approve key process engineering deliverables, including: Process Design Basis and Philosophy PFDs and P&IDs Heat & Material Balance, Process Calculations, and Datasheets Equipment sizing for static and rotating equipment Line sizing, PSV calculations, relief and flare system design Control philosophies and safeguarding systems Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards and codes (API, ASME, ISO). Identify and address process safety aspects, including participation in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and other risk assessment studies. Interface closely with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, safety, and commissioning teams to support integrated project execution. Support technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and technical clarifications. Provide process engineering support during construction, commissioning, and offshore hook?up as required. Monitor engineering progress, highlight technical risks, and propose solutions to meet project schedule and quality objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10–12 years of experience in process engineering within the offshore oil & gas / marine / offshore facilities environment. Strong experience in offshore facilities such as platforms, FPSOs, offshore processing modules, or gas processing systems. Solid understanding of process design, hydrocarbons processing, utilities, and offshore operational constraints. Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex offshore projects.
