Key Responsibilities & Duties
Lead all process philosophies and review all process engineering deliverables including drawings Perform required process calculations and review/verify all process system lists, specifications, and data sheets Provide technical support during procurement processes Plan process engineering activities ensuring process items do not impact project critical path Manage project communications and document control via project management tools such as Aconex Participate in HAZOP/HAZID and ensure correct process equipment installation per classification and project stage Review and interpret plans, specifications, material proposals, and construction methods to ensure compliance with contract and engineering standards Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure compliance Provide technical training and coaching to junior process engineers Monitor EPC/EPCM and construction contractors to ensure adherence to drawings and contract documents Assist project management with documentation, reporting, cost analysis, and risk identification Liaise regularly with all engineering disciplines for integrated project planning Develop technical and management reports detailing process engineering performance and risk mitigation Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering from a recognized institution Professional Engineer (PE) license or higher preferred Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years focused on engineering capital projects Proven experience managing large-scale projects in multicultural environments Skills & Competencies
Comprehensive knowledge of process engineering practices, calculation methods, economic principles, and international codes and standards Practical understanding of safety and environmental fundamentals and their application Fluent in oral and written English Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines Proficient in project control tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and MS Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities Leadership skills with a focus on developing others and driving achievement in multicultural settings
