Description A dynamic and values-driven financial advisory firm is seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join its team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is passionate about client service, financial planning, and mentoring others in a collaborative environment. Position Overview The Lead Planner is responsible for managing and retaining client relationships, delivering comprehensive financial advice, and coaching Associate Wealth Architects. This role collaborates with senior advisors, technical specialists, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic financial plans tailored to each client’s unique goals and values. Key Responsibilities + Lead the development and review of financial documents including balance sheets, strategic plans, estate maps, and portfolio reports. + Provide holistic financial advice covering investment management, estate planning, tax strategies, and philanthropic planning. + Maintain regular communication with clients and advisors to deepen relationships and ensure service excellence. + Prepare for and follow up on client meetings, ensuring all action items are completed. + Oversee financial modeling and investment policy execution. + Supervise and mentor Associate Wealth Architects, supporting their professional development. + Ensure compliance with fiduciary standards and internal policies. + Contribute to strategic initiatives across planning, investments, and business development. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. + Advanced degree or professional designation required (e.g., CFP®, CFA, CPA, JD, EA, Master’s, PhD). + 5–10+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years advising clients. + Series 65 license preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM, document management, and portfolio management software. + Experience with custodial platforms such as Schwab or Fidelity is a plus.
