Title: Lead Piping Engineer Job Responsibilities: + Lead and supervise a team of Piping Engineers and Designers as the Lead Engineer of the project + Ensure efficient Project Execution within the stipulated schedule and budget + Familiarity with Offshore Piping Materials, Stress Engineering, Platforms and FPSO layout design, Material handling, Piping/ Pipe support design, safety requirements + Conduct 3D Model Reviews as per the Project requirements + Effectively manage design changes and provide appropriate solutions as needed during Project execution + Responsible for the production of deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports and various third-party submissions + Provide skills, integrity and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practices + Understand clients ’needs, identify and address design parameters and problems, and develop and implement solutions + Perform Inter-discipline & discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group + Review and manage project and general specifications, engineering procedures and engineering policy + Adhere to company processes and procedures + Responsible for all work completed in his/her section and delivered to the client + Ensure efficient and effective production of project deliverables + Assist the Department Manager in discipline related activities and work sharing with other centers Job Requirements: + Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering with 20 years of experience + Experience in Offshore platform / FPSO Piping Engineering + Familiarity with offshore/FPSO piping materials, stress, layout and support engineering and design concepts + Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and coordinate well with the piping materials, stress and layout teams, as well as other disciplines + Possess hands-on experience as Lead Piping Engineer for large sized FPSO/Offshore platform projects
