Lead Pharmacy Technician - Sign on Bonus of $2500.00

The Lead Pharmacy Technician delegate and direct technical staff functions in an assigned pharmacy to ensure proper execution and delivery of pharmacy services, including work shift responsibilities and assignments, quality control monitoring, various project-oriented tasks, and training and orientation activities. This position works specifically with the IV area. **A caregiver in this position works rotating days/evenings from 6:00am - 2:30pm and 3:00pm - 11:30pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Interact with and review work of caregivers, providing feedback to ensure maximized output and efficiency. + Create and present quality control reports to management regarding team performance and throughput. + Ensure caregivers are adequately trained and oriented to the work area. + Provide onside re-training. + Serve as a technical resource. + Work in staff capacity and possess the ability to perform all technician functions. + Help with media fill testing. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma or GED + Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) + Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. You must register as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy within 6 months of hire + Three years of experience in an inpatient and/or advanced community practice setting + Ability to identify and develop solutions applying appropriate pharmacy standards and policies + Ability to educate and train others, including how to plan and direct their efforts Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
