Role Summary/Purpose The Lead Person will assist Plant Leadership in overseeing production activities on the manufacturing floor to ensure on-time delivery. The person in this role works within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action. Essential Functions/Responsibilities + Coordinate all manufacturing activities to assure meeting production schedules and to rotate team members through multiple positions throughout the day for ergonomic benefit. + Coordinate manufacturing activities to assure meeting cost goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality. + Coordinate cross-training of production employees in the various operations. + Coordinate and provide technical, quality and production leadership to production team members. + Provide leadership to continuously improve manufacturing assembly and process for all assigned products/processes. + Perform administrative duties to support the business.
