Job Title: Lead Packaging Technician 2nd shift Location: Monmouth Junction, New Jersey Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $23-$26/Hour, Plus Differential Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: M-Th, 3p-11p Job Description + Support and assist with packaging pharmaceutical products following SOPs, cGMPs, FDA standards, and batch record requirements + Operate and monitor packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, bundlers, and shrink wrappers + Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and test runs for different products and batch sizes + Complete packaging tasks accurately and efficiently per work orders and specifications + Maintain accurate batch records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance + Collaborate with production teams and other departments to meet daily production goals + Identify, report, and assist with investigating deviations from processes or procedures + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packaging environment + Adhere to all safety policies and procedures + Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and assigning personnel as needed + Train and mentor new or junior packaging technicians + Support SOP development and documentation when needed + Work overtime or weekends as required by production demands Requirements + High School Diploma or equivalent (required) + Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech cGMP-regulated environment + Prior packaging experience strongly preferred + Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently + Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills + Ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety policies, and technical instructions + Working knowledge of cGMPs and regulated manufacturing environments + Proficiency with Microsoft Office + Strong communication, organization, and time management skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment + Willingness to work additional hours as business needs require Preferred Qualifications + Solid dose manufacturing experience + Associate’s degree or some college coursework System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
