Division/Site Specific InformationAs part of the Drug Product Division (DPD), the Greenville, North Carolina site is a multi-purpose pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, and packaging campus. The Drug Product Division - North America (DPD-NA) is one of the five divisions that make up the Pharma Services Group. We are made up of approximately 4400 colleagues across six sites who specialize in taking sterile injectable and oral solid dose drug products from development to commercialization.
This position is a 12-hour Night shift from 6pm-6am on a 3-2-2 rotation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

A Day in the Life:Reconcile PWO paperwork at the end of the batch to ensure that all numbers add accurately to the customer requirements.
Assist the supervisor in maintaining an efficient and safe work environment.
Ensure operations are performed in a safe and responsible manner, striving to build an injury-free and incident-free workplace.
Required to acquire Manual Visual Inspection qualifications for both Syringe and Vial products.
Ensure pharmaceutical products in manufacturing are in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Verify and document production activities in batch records, logbooks, etc.
Assist in troubleshooting operational and production problems to identify appropriate corrective actions.
Perform the disassembly, assembly, cleaning, and operation of area manufacturing equipment. Prepare equipment and components for operations. Possess general mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge of pharmaceutical industry equipment.
Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and production areas. Assist in initial and subsequent validation of equipment and processes.
Maintain/clean classified environments/areas.
Communicate and work to resolve any production, quality, or safety issues.
Align with all job-related safety, cGMP, and other department procedural requirements.
Participate in the On the Job (OJT) training program, area safety initiatives, and area lean manufacturing initiatives.
Perform other related duties as required by the job or directed by the supervisor.
Train new employees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Keys to Success: EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.
ExperienceAt least 2 years of manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience required, or a minimum of 1 year experience with an associate degree.
People leadership experience highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Flexibility with departmental work schedules, including overtime and all shift operations.
Ability to achieve and maintain qualifications to work in a cleanroom environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move about office locations and manipulate medium weights of 25-50 pounds.
Occasionally push and pull 50-100+ pounds and maintain visual acuity for prolonged periods.
Full range of motion in upper and lower extremities, with capacity for prolonged standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
