Lead Operator (Day Shift) – Central Inspection - Full Time

Position Brand Description:

To provide line leadership in Parenteral Operations, Central Inspection.  The Lead Operator is responsible for daily operations, development of operators, ensuring compliance with all policies/procedures, and ensuring resources are scheduled accordingly per the production schedule. 

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (safety, production procedures, sanitization, gowning, etc.).  Ensure Operators are trained appropriately.Take ownership for implementation of countermeasures associated with audits, observations, inspection findings, and deviations relative to the central inspection area.Participate in planning of inspection operations.  Network with various areas to verify components and equipment are available for future orders.Assist Supervision in development, performance evaluations of operators.Technical Leader on the inspection lines, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems, and use of proper technique.  Resource for Operators on the line.When necessary, assist in setup of equipment and inspection of high-quality pharmaceutical filled vial/cartridge utilizing Lilly standards by following good manufacturing practices in controlled facilities.Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely, adhering to parenteral plant safety policies and procedures, and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of productDocument process steps on appropriate batch documentation (paper and electronic)Unloading / loading of materials for use in manufacturing areas, storage of material in appropriate storage zones and ASRS (Automated Storage Retrieval System).

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma / GEDBasic computer skills, including the use of HMIs and other computer terminals used to monitor equipment status, document production activities, and the capability to learn in more detailMust pass eye exam and not be color blind.Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$25.60 - $46.88

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
