We are looking for a dedicated Lead Neurodiagnostic Tech like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** This position is responsible for expert knowledge of EEGs and all intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring (INDM) with emphasis on leadership qualities, by supporting the Neurodiagnostic Lab Leadership. This employee is sought out by others for advice and clarification of job related knowledge. Effectively communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the EEG department staff. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews the daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of EEG patients. The Lead Neurodiagnostic Tech will assist leadership in creating and managing staff schedules, daily assignments, supply needs, new employee training, staff education, and other duties as directed. Prioritizes, motivates, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Rocky Mountain Children’s. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with TJC regulations and facility standards. Positively demonstrates concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills for daily activity and patient flow of the Neurodiagnostic department and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions. **What you will do in this role:** + Performs EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care units. + Performs Ambulatory EEG recordings and electrocerebral silence tracings. + Performs intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring (INDM) of patients in the epilepsy center. + Performs evoked potential recordings. + Assists physicians in EMG, NCV and TCD studies. + Shares an on-call rotation with other staff for emergency studies. **What qualifications you will need:** + BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. + Must be ABRET EEG registered. + Knowledge/experience in neurophysiologic testing including evoked potentials. + Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training. Some college level work is preferable. + 2 years minimum experience in Neurodiagnostic technology (may include time spent in training).
