What you’ll do:
Ticket management with advanced support engagement and follow up.
Technical support for field personnel.
Technical project assignments with technical writing experience.
Fault and performance troubleshooting analysis in conjunction with Tier 3 partners.
Evaluate network impact and recommend or take recovery action in collaboration with peer team.
Technical bulletin review, interpretation, and presentation to the team.
Perform all technical RCA investigations, document learns and drive improvement opportunities.
Script writing and tool development.
RAN Network audits and analysis.
What you’ll need:
As a Lead Network Technology Support, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for providing advanced technical support for both Classic and Cloud Radio Access Network (RAN) environments. Key responsibilities include reporting, tracking, documenting, and coordinating with various support groups, including ATS and OEM vendors—to effectively diagnose, restore, and accurately report network events.
Expertise in remote triage and restoration, prioritization, performance and report analysis, root cause analysis, and leading outage event bridges for RAN technologies is essential. You will develop action plans in collaboration with your team to mitigate network impacts.
Additionally, you will lead the mentoring program for new Tier 2 team members, providing guidance on processes, policies, and technical training. This position also oversees Tier 2 special projects, such as developing and testing tools, creating new processes, and writing job aids. Supporting the development, integration, testing, and lifecycle management of automation and applications for the RAN network is also a critical aspect of this role.

Required Experience:
5-8 years of related experience
Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role
Required Qualifications:
Willing to work any shift to provide 24x7 network support.
Expert level experience troubleshooting, maintaining, configuring, provisioning, and supporting Ericsson RAN equipment (4G = eNodeB, 5G = gNodeB).
5-8 years of strong understanding of Cloud related concepts such as Kubernetes(K8), VNF & Orchestration.
5-8 years of fluent experience with Linux and comfortable working on software applications using Linux.
5-8 years of fluent experience with common security policy, procedure and UAM protocols (TACACS and LDAP).
5-8 years’ experience in the use of RF related performance tools (such as Arieso, Optima).
Desired Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or equivalent related network experience preferred.
Desired Experience:
Coding and programming skills are highly desirable.

This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
Our Lead Network Technology Support, earns between $106,100 - $178,200 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
