Lead Mfg Eng Technician
Key Responsibilities: - REVIEW SPECIFICATIONS & MANUFACTURING FEASIBILITY FOR CUSTOMER PART DRAWINGS AND PROVIDE FEED BACK ON CHANGES (VDCR) - CREATE PRELIMINARY DRAWINGS AND SUBMIT FOR REVIEW AND PREPARE LAYOUT AND DETAIL DRAWINGS AFTER REVIEW IS COMPLETE - ORDER TOOLINGS PER DETAILED DRAWINGS AND FOLLOW UP WITH VENDORS FOR DELIVERY TO RECEIVE TOOLINGS PER SCHEDULED TIME LINE - WORKS CLOSELY WITH HVM TEAM IN TOOL BUY OFF & PREPARATION ACTIVITIES - PERFORM COMPLEX MACHINING INCLUDES CNC MACHINING & ESTABLISH STANDARD PROCDURES - INSTALLATION & TESTING OF TOOLS ON PRESS AND DEBUG ISSUES TO MEET DRAWING SPECIFICATION - DOCUMENT EACH SETUP AND CREATE PRELIMINARY PRODUCT SETUP SHEETS AND PROCEDURES TO HAND OVER TO HVM TEAM PER STANDARD TRANSFER CHECK SHEET - CONTINUOUSLY LOOK FOR IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE WORKS, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT - SPARE TOOLING RECEIVING & BUY OFF - COMPLETE NOTIFICATION PROCESS IN SAP - SET UP SHEETS UPDATE - TRANSFER TECHNOLOGY TO LOCAL STAFF Qualifications: - Diploma Degree or Bachelors degree in Tool & Die making from reputed university providing specialized training in Tool and die Making or Mechanical Engineering - At least 3 to 5 Years hands on working experience in Designing, manufacturing, Maintaining, setting up dies on press machines and troubleshooting production issues. - Should have experience in designing progressive stamping dies including complex forming/Coining operations, having proficiency in design soft ware, Solid works and Auto cad. - Experience in precision machining is added advantage. - Should have good command in both Spoken and written English - R & D EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT IS PREFERABLE - DRAWING MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE / SKILLS - Knowledge and experience of press tools, jigs, fixtures manufacturing and maintenance - Able to operate basic tool room machines like grinding, milling & lathe etc - Able to read and write engineering drawings - Able to work under pressure in rotating shifts Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
