As a Material Planner for the Stator Cell, you will be dedicated to ensuring on-time delivery from the launch to the customer. You’ll play a key role in our manufacturing plan, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials. You will plan and schedule according to production needs using your in-depth knowledge of concepts, methods and procedures.
You will be responsibilities may include the following as well as other items required to execute the role:
Works with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 months) and global forecastsWorks with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders. Understands business trends, opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast. Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costsWorks with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins) Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
Monitor levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
Assists with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP process

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related fieldHave a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory managementHave a minimum of 4 years of experience experience in order managementHave a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory optimization and managementHave previous experience in MRP planning Be able to demonstrate intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality Ability to work with and influence stakeholders Be able to demonstrate strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgencyCertification in CPIM is preferredWork in a way that works for you
