Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and execute end-to-end procurement activities for critical materials, ensuring timely supply at the right cost and quality in alignment with business needs and production schedulesEstablish and maintain robust material master data and dynamic inventory replenishment strategies to support high service levels while effectively controlling inventory carrying costs and minimizing excess or obsolete stockCollaborate closely with supply chain, production, engineering, finance, and quality teams to ensure accurate material planning, timely deliveries, and seamless integration across all operational functionsActively participate in regional and business-level inventory forecasting processes by providing data-driven insights and contributing to the development of long-term supply plansContinuously monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities, implement corrective actions, and ensure inventory accuracy across all storage locationsSupport ongoing cost reduction and process improvement initiatives through supplier collaboration, strategic sourcing, and the implementation of best practices in procurement and inventory managementTake ownership of resolving supply disruptions or material quality issues by proactively communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring minimal impact to operationsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering fields from an accredited universityMinimum 6 years of experience in the materiel management areaStrong oral and written language skills in EnglishStrong inventory management backgroundComfortable in hybrid working conditionsSAP program knowledge is a mustAbility to live in Istanbul or KocaeliDesired Characteristics
High coordination skillsPreferably graduated from Industrial EngineeringStrong communication and relationship skills Improved problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demandsAble to think inquisitively and analytically, to make inferences based on data analysisAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
