Overview
We are seeking a licensed and passionate Lead Massage Practitioner to elevate our guest experience and support team excellence. This role combines hands-on expertise in massage with a collaborative approach to developing service standards, training, and procedures in partnership with the Spa Supervisor and Wellness Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Massage & Bodywork Leadership
Collaborate with spa leadership to co-develop and implement treatment standards, training protocols, and quality benchmarksProvide hands-on training, mentorship, and ongoing skill development for the massage teamEnsure consistency in technique, guest care, sanitation, and safety in accordance with California state regulationsSupport onboarding and continuing education for massage therapistsStrong understanding and salesmanship of retail and home care recommendations for ongoing team training and individual team goal setting, in conjunction with spa leadershipAssist with spa receptionist and lobby coverage as needed to ensure excellent guest service and smooth operationsSupport spa leadership with projects that enhance team efficiency and guest satisfactionAssist with supply and product ordering, organization, and inventory managementQualifications
Valid California Massage Therapy (required)5+ years of professional experience in both massage and esthetics, ideally in a luxury spa settingPrevious experience in team training, education, or leadership preferredProficiency in multiple massage modalities and advanced skincare treatmentsExcellent communication, mentorship, and guest service skillsSavvy computer skills for general administration tasksCPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtainFlexible availability including weekends and holidays
Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $45.00/Hr. - $55.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
