We are seeking an Audience Intelligence Lead to join our growing Audience Marketing and Performance Measurement (AM-PM) team within the Marketing Growth Organization (MGO). This strategic role will be instrumental in advancing our audience-first marketing approach by developing and operationalizing key audience intelligence, segmentation frameworks, and opportunity models that inform marketing strategy and execution.

The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of technical fluency, analytical rigor, and strategic thinking to shape how we identify, prioritize, and activate audience-led initiatives across both consumer and business marketing teams.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Audience Intelligence Development: Build and maintain foundational audience artifacts including segmentation frameworks, audience profiles, and opportunity dashboards.

Modeling & Forecasting: Develop opportunity growth models and segment forecasts using Excel, SQL, or statistical tools (e.g., Python, R).

Key Moments Analysis: Analyze audience behavior around tentpole events (e.g., device launches, sponsorships) to inform campaign timing and messaging.

Offer Segment Recommendation Analysis: Analyze upcoming offers, align to our “needs based” segmentation, and provide a compatibility score.  

Segmentation Enablement: maintain and optimize segmentation frameworks and tools to support targeted marketing initiatives, enabling teams to effectively identify, understand, and engage key customer groups.

Audience-Specific Analysis: Surface actionable information for priority segments and audiences (e.g., gamers) to inform targeting, messaging, and media planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Brand Strategy, Digital, Product Marketing, Research & Analytics, and Commercialization to ensure audience and segment intelligence are embedded in planning and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related field.

5+ years of experience in audience strategy, marketing analytics, segmentation, or customer intelligence.

Strong technical skills in Excel modeling, SQL, and/or Python/R for data analysis and forecasting.

Consulting or agency experience in audience development or marketing strategy.

Experience with predictive modeling, opportunity sizing, or growth forecasting.

Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Experience with predictive modeling, opportunity sizing, or growth forecasting.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

Proficiency turning volumes of complex information, data, and insights into concise and compelling PowerPoint decks and/or prose that helps leaders understand the situation, the problem(s) to solve, the options for resolution, and the operational implications of a decision.

Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams.

DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Experience in telecommunications, technology, or other data-rich industries.

Extensive experience working with advanced management and operational systems typically found in large organizations.

Strong understanding of DSP’s, SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing channels.

Certifications or advanced training in digital marketing, programmatic advertising, or data analysis.

Our Lead Marketing Management earns between $130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
