In this key role, you'll ensure optimal equipment performance and maintenance while supporting continuous improvement in our manufacturing facilities. You'll resolve complex technical issues, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams. Your expertise will directly impact the production of essential scientific and medical products used by researchers and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Sterile manufacturing equipment maintenance such as filling, autoclave and part washer.Participate in problem solving discussions with multi-functional team to identify/define root cause, evaluate alternative solutions, and develop action plans.Execute the routine maintenance for the production equipment, control systems, automated filling lines, packaging etc in a timely manner and in compliance with Engineering standards and safety procedures.Complete training provided timely to improve proficiencies.Contribute to team effort by achieving desired results/important metrics. Share Knowledge and mentor colleagues to build up their proficiencies.Manage third-party vendor who is contracted to perform routine preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and any other maintenance related activity.Ensure all GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is completed accurately and processed to full completion in compliance to data integrity requirement.Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, including but not limited to the above.Requirements
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Electronics, or related fieldPreferably 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, maintenance, or similar technical roleProfessional certifications in relevant technical areas preferredStrong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, and equipment maintenanceProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentationExperience with calibration, preventive maintenance, and GMP/GEP complianceDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systemsKnowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (ISO, GMP)Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and mentoring techniciansProficiency with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with PLCs, control systems, and automated equipment preferredAbility to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency calls when neededPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in manufacturing environmentDemonstrated commitment to safety protocols and proceduresStrong organizational and time management skills
