We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance team and keep operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on CNC lathes, mills, automated gauges, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, utilizing your deep knowledge and problem-solving skills. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving events. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, including PPE use, lockout/tagout protocols, and OSHA regulations. Operate forklifts and rigging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform welding, fabrication, and machining as needed to support equipment and operational needs. Help foster a clean, organized work environment aligned with plant 5S strategies.What You Bring:
10+ years of hands-on maintenance experience with CNC lathes and mills, demonstrating advanced electrical skills. Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical principles. Proven troubleshooting ability—diagnose issues quickly and present effective solutions. Proficiency in reading maintenance manuals, schematics, and parts diagrams. Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning. Willingness to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and overtime as needed. Valid forklift operation skills and familiarity with rigging and lifting safety.Nice to Have:
Experience with PLC controls and automation systems. Welding, fabrication, and machining skills. Certifications in maintenance, electrical, or safety disciplines. Experience supporting or implementing lean or continuous improvement strategies.Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. 10+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting with heavy automation.Additional Requirements:
Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background checks.
