Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of properties in the Long Beach, Cerritos, and Westchester areas. You will work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with shift times varying depending on special events. This role requires on-call availability for emergencies, as needed. You will ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with applicable standards and regulatory guidelines to promote a safe working environment.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain overall responsibility for the maintenance of the designated portfolio in accordance with policies and standards.Inspect properties daily to identify potential hazards, damages, and improvement opportunities, and create action plans to address these.Provide coverage to properties during weekends and holidays, as required.Perform basic repairs to electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, door hardware, cement, flooring, woodwork, painting, furniture, and heaters in a timely and efficient manner.Work comfortably with high voltage.Provide oversight and guidance to a team of 1-3 maintenance staff.Essential SkillsStrong experience in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Supervisory skills with experience in managing a small team.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Must be at least 18 years of age.Minimum of 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, with shopping center maintenance experience preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents and instructions.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collect and analyze information.Basic computer skills.Valid Driver's License in the state of California.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
