**Job Title: Lead Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** Join our team as a Lead Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. This position is set in a very industrial environment and involves working with manufacturing equipment, including wire manufacturing, using both mechanical and electrical components. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. + Work with manufacturing equipment in a very industrial setting. + Utilize mechanical and electrical components in wire manufacturing. + Handle hydraulics, valves, and pumps efficiently. + Apply electrical knowledge, including working with 110-480 volt standard electrical power. + Conduct some PLC troubleshooting tasks. + Lead team of mechanics, answering questions and taking charge of maintenance projects. **Essential Skills** + Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance technician roles. + Strong mechanical skills, especially with pumps, hydraulics, valves, and pneumatics. + Electrical skills including knowledge of 110-480 volt systems and PLCs. + Experience in preventive maintenance in an industrial setting. + Leadership experience is a big plus, but not required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with manufacturing equipment in a highly industrial environment. + Experience in wire manufacturing using mechanical and electrical components. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the flexibility of working in a structured shift system with a 1st shift starting at 4am and a 2nd shift starting at 3pm, providing work-life balance and stability. **Work Environment** Work in a very industrial environment equipped with mechanical equipment, ensuring a dynamic and hands-on work experience. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
