You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements. Challenges. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we’ll rely on you to look for a solution. Responsibilities. Responsible for design and architecture of Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for complex business problems, with a primary focus on automating client onboarding processes. Collaborate with implementation teams to identify gaps in current product features and design scalable LLM-powered solutions to address those gaps. Partner with Technical Product Managers (TPM) to develop and prioritize product roadmaps that deliver strategic enhancements and drive business value. Design and implement high-performance LLM applications and systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and foundation models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama). Develop and maintain scalable LLMOps pipelines including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring systems. Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases for enhanced model performance. Evaluate model performance through systematic testing, A/B testing, and observability tools, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and implementation teams to translate business requirements into LLM-powered technical solutions. Work closely with software engineers to integrate LLM applications into product architecture, ensuring seamless deployment, maintenance, and monitoring through comprehensive LLMOps practices. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, documenting and communicating technical design decisions and best practices to stakeholders across the organization. Drive innovation by staying current with the latest advancements in LLMs, generative AI, and prompt engineering techniques, and applying emerging technologies to solve business challenges. Build and maintain robust LLMOps infrastructure using modern development tools and practices, including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Ansible), and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL services to enable efficient integration of LLM capabilities into existing systems. Implement observability and monitoring solutions for LLM applications, including token usage tracking, latency optimization, and cost management.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of related experience.Work Experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Python; Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundation models (GPT-4, Claude, or Llama); LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar); Prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques; Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB); RESTful APIs; GoLang or Node JS technologies; RDBMS and NoSQL databases (MySQL or DynamoDB); Public Cloud (AWS or Azure); Docker/Kubernetes; GIT; CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and Ansible); GraphQL; Agile software methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean; and LLMOps practices including observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
