**Job Title: Machine Builder Lead**
**Job Description**
Seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Machine Builder to add to our team. This is a first shift Machine Builder position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. This role is available in Grand Rapids, Plymouth, and Walker. The Machine Builder Lead is responsible for performing assembly of machined and purchased components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform assembly of machined and purchased components.
+ Utilize and understand MIM (Motor in Middle) chassis dyno for emission testing.
+ Operate the Model 3600 Roll Brake Tester for dynamic vehicle testing.
+ Use the Centering System 7112 for positioning vehicles in the test station.
+ Conduct production line measuring and verification with the Non-Contact Alignment Machine.
**Essential Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in machine building.
+ Basic understanding of blueprints and schematics.
+ Ability to use basic hand tools.
+ Experience in wiring junction boxes.
+ Familiarity with TIG and MIG welding.

**Work Environment**
The work takes place in a clean facility located in Grand Rapids. It is a custom machine building environment where products are built from start to finish in-house, transitioning from the fabrication shop, to the CNC department, and finally to machine build and paint. The facility operates on two shifts.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
