Lead Logistics Supervisor - First Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Lead Logistics Supervisor - First Shift.
**What you’ll do:**
**Primary Function:**
This position is responsible for the Assembly, Feeders and General Warehouse material management, material flow to production areas and inventory control process by leading the Warehouse and Logistics Operations, Material Handling and the procedures for inventory control, shipping and receiving, actively support physical inventory processes, educating and coach teams on inventory control processes and the best material handling practices. Also, under the rules of safety and quality set out in the organization, generates maximum results and comply with Warehouse & Logistics standards, functions and responsibilities. Achieves the customer’s requirements complying with all the policies & procedures of Supply Chain, MESH, Quality and Finance by which the company is governed.
**Essential Functions:** List the essential functions which must be performed in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.
1. Coordinates the Warehouse and Logistic activities to maximize resources utilization and achieve short and long-term goals.
2. Develop and implement inventory control and material management programs & procedures.
3. Supervise the performance and execution of all Logistics and Warehouse employees.
4. Manages carriers and third-party logistics providers with the responsibility of inbound & outbound logistics for raw material, parts and finished goods.
5. Identifies receiving, locating, dispatching and shipping opportunities for improvement and implement required processes enhancements.
6. Conducts daily with direct employees to discuss employee performances, department projects, initiatives, employees concerns, among others topics of relevance.
7. Ensures proper record keeping of all warehouse and shipping transactions in compliance with the company / department record retention policies.
8. Supervises and monitors hourly personnel ensuring absenteeism, conflict management, disciplinary actions, recognitions, and compliance with corporate and plant standards.
9. Ensure consistent execution of warehouse processes, material flow and inventory accuracy.
10. Maintain trailer tacker report and weekly inventory for all trailers in the facility.
11. Timely completion of all Supply Chain and Quality “Corrective Actions Preventive Actions” requests attributed to inventory discrepancies.
12. Monitor and track performance to metrics of Key Business Indicators.
13. Provide direct support to Finance and Production Departments during physical inventory process.
14. Leads 5S events in all warehouse and shipping areas.
15. Performs and report to HR changes and personnel moves such as department changes, shift changes, promotions, departures, etc.
16. Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as Eaton policies and procedures.
17. Conducts and manages embracing Eaton’s policies, philosophy, values and Code of Ethics.
18. Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS):
a. Attend and perform all EHS training assigned.
b. Promote MESH processes and policies to all employees under his/her supervision.
c. Provide all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures all performed by all personnel under his/her supervision.
19. Responsible for requesting and/or requiring Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) (safety gloves, safety goggles, protective gauze, etc.) to production line employees.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar careers2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisor role in SCM environment3. Bilingual (English/Spanish)4. PC proficient knowledge, Microsoft Office, AS400, Window5. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize.6. Strong data analysis skills7. Proactive problem solving ability8.
