Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time LEAD Linen Tech (Environmental Services) at Chilton Medical Center. Required hours are: 9:00AM-5:00PM including weekends.  Starting rate $18.50/hr.
 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining par levels of linen by managing linen items to meet stock requirements. Ensures accuracy of items ordered versus items received in department. Rotates and inspects linen for compromises in quality. Ensures that labels are accurate, legible, and exist on all carts and shelves for linen. Closely monitors cart inventory levels, pulling excess linen from returning carts. Makes needed cart and shelf revisions according to procedure. Supervises linen technologist assigned to facility. Responsible for timely and accurate processing operations of linen room. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required. To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to bend/push/pull/lift 50lbs.

Relevant Experience:

 4 years of experience in managing Linen items preferred. Prior experience working in a Health Care Facility, Hospital System or relevant area preferred.
