Position Summary Details The Lead Janitor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance operations of a facility. This role ensures that all janitorial staff perform their duties efficiently and that the building remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Lead Janitor also performs hands-on cleaning tasks and serves as the primary point of contact between janitorial staff and management.
  Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas. Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with onboarding and training of new janitorial staff. Respond to emergency cleaning situations promptly and effectively. Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and supply usage. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.    Preferred Qualifications  Customer Service Experience  One year of lead or supervisory experience
