Job responsibilities

 

Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scopeDrives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologiesWorks with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processesExecutes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexityStrongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actionsAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. Hands on experience of  Network Security and Infrastructure experience.8+ years of hands-on experience with F5 Load balancing technologies (GTM, LTM, ASM, APM, AFM)/CloudFlare/Akamai.3-5 years of experience in Cisco networking technologies and firewall products.Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: Python, Unix.Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaboratively; self-starter.Organized and able to follow processes to minimize risk.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment.Flexible to work in off hours/weekends.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies is a plus. F5 certifications are preferred but not required; equivalent experience is acceptable
