Position Summary:
The Lead Information Desk Clerk supervises Information Desk Staff and serves as a liaison between Information Desk Staff and the Manager of Security Services.
In addition to the primary general duties assigned to the Information Desk Clerk, which include acting as a receptionist to all hospital visitors, screening and badging all hospital visitors, and providing directions, patient information, and answers to basic information requests, the responsibilities of the Lead Information Desk Clerk include, but are not limited to, the scheduling of Information Desk Staff, including the management of post assignment schedules and PTO and overtime schedules, ensuring adequate staff coverage at all hospital screening posts, acting as a point person between the Information Desk and Security Services and Patient Transportation, collaborating with the volunteer coordinator to arrange volunteer assistance at Information Desk posts, managing the training of Information Desk Staff and the creation and distribution of training materials, developing and submitting weekly status reports, maintaining Information Desk supplies, and monitoring the organization and cleanliness of Information Desk area. Other job duties as assigned.
Work involves excellent interpersonal skills, supervisory skills, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to handle multiple requests at a time.

High School Diploma
Experience Requirements:
One year experience scheduling of staff.Prior experience on Information Desk.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.Previous public contact experience in a high activity atmosphere.High level of accuracyPay Range: $17.85 - $25.90
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
