Job Title: Salesforce Tech Lead

Experience Range:

Total Experience: 7 to 9  years
Relevant Salesforce Experience: Minimum 4–5 years (Salesforce Administration and Development)

Role Overview:

This role reports to the Director of Revenue Operations and will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success systems and processes on the Salesforce platform.

The Salesforce Developer/Administrator will translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensure system stability, and follow Salesforce best practices for security and scalability. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the Salesforce ecosystem including design, development, integration, deployment, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and drive the technical design, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce projects. Lead all end-to-end technical aspects of Salesforce programs—data migration, data quality, integrations, and custom development. Develop user-specific solutions using Apex classes, Triggers, Controllers, Controller Extensions, Lightning Components, and Test Methods. Work with both sandbox and production environments and ensure smooth releases. Design and implement custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and record types. Build and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, batch and scheduled Apex jobs, and troubleshoot performance or logic issues. Perform data migration and integration tasks using Salesforce Data Loader and other tools. Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure on-time project delivery. Ensure system security, stability, and adherence to best practices in Salesforce development. Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of Salesforce applications.

Must Have Skills:

5+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience. Hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security concepts. Proven experience in Flows, Validation Rules, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules. Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL queries and Salesforce data management. Experience with data migration tools such as Data Loader. Proven track record in Salesforce customization and configuration (objects, fields, reports, dashboards, record types, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Educational Qualification: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Good to Have Skills:

Experience working with Salesforce integrations such as Salesloft, Demandbase, Marketo, Sales Navigator, DocuSign, Asana, etc. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Salesforce Certifications such as: Salesforce Platform Developer I / II Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) Salesforce App Builder Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment best practices using tools like Change Sets, Git, or CI/CD pipelines. Experience with third-party applications and API-based integrations.
