About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through automated testing and data validation processes. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and data teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated tests using a BDD framework. Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python (Pytest). Integrate testing efforts with tools like Zephyr for test case management. Validate data pipelines and services built on AWS technologies (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Airflow). Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. Perform test data generation using tools like GenRocket or similar. Analyze test results, identify bugs, and follow through on resolutions. Must-Have Skills Strong hands-on experience with Test Automation using BDD frameworks. Proficiency in Python automation frameworks (Pytest). Experience with Zephyr for test case management. Familiarity with key AWS services, including: S3 Glue Athena DynamoDB Airflow Good to Have Experience with test data generation tools, preferably GenRocket. Strong understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries. Working knowledge of basic Unix/Linux commands. Nice to Have Experience using QuerySurge for data testing and validation.
