Job Title: Salesforce Automation Tester

Job Description:

 

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Automation Tester to join our Salesforce Platform Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and build efficient, reliable test solutions. The role requires a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and experience in backend, frontend, API testing, with awareness of AI-driven test tools.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. Work with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements. Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify issues. Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Collaborate with QA and development teams to improve overall test processes and coverage. Log and track defects, assisting in root cause analysis and resolution. Ensure proper configuration of test environments and test data.

 

Must-Have Skills:

 

Minimum 3-6 years of hands-on test automation experience. Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or SoapUI. Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git). Good at test case design and test script optimization using AI tools. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Good-to-Have Skills:

 

Salesforce Certified Administrator. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder. Certification in software testing like ISTQB or other QA certifications. Certification as a Certified Selenium Tester, ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer, or Certified Cypress Tester/Playwright Automation.

 

Experience Range:

 

3-6 years of experience in test automation with a focus on web, mobile, and API testing. Solid experience in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium). Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) for test automation development. Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration and test environment setup.
