Content writers craft compelling copy that helps us connect with our audiences.
The Content Writer’s duties include (but are not limited to):
· Drafting story outlines and copy to support content creation for various media, including video, email, social media and the web
· Editing copy to align with brand standards, including for voice, tone and grammar
· Communicating with internal stakeholders to set clear expectations for delivery
· Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce content
· Contributing to weekly content labs through discussion and sharing of best practices Skills and requirements:
· Must be a master of words and the English language
· Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher, with a preference for a degree in English, communications, public relations, or journalism
· Must have experience driving an emotional connection through writing with the ultimate goal of helping to drive conversions
· Must be able to understand communications goals and create deliverables that meet those goals
· Must be organized, self-motivated and able to deliver quality work on time while exceeding quality expectations
· Must be willing to contribute toward internal content requirements while meeting client deadlines
· Must be proficient in new media tactics and the ability to adjust their style to accommodate different audiences and environments
· Must be willing to learn new tasks, content types and standards
