Lead I&C Engineer – Barcelona, Spain
Key responsibilities and main tasks:
• Coordinates a team of engineers and designers from the Instrumentation, Control, and Telematics Systems discipline. Mobilization planning and task assignment
* Produces I&C discipline deliverables: lists, specifications, diagrams, etc.
• Responsible for the quality, planning, contractual requirements, and execution plan of the I&C team on the project.
• Responsible for labor planning and work distribution within the group on a regular basis.
• Oversees engineering activities, including the lifecycle of material and Instrumentation Control Systems & Telecom (ICST) systems requisitions.
• Verifies or approves technical recommendations.
• Manages and controls man-hours.
• Responsible for proposing cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinates with lead engineers from other departments and project support functions, such as procurement and planning.
• Ensures that discipline engineering deliverables comply with the project's QHSE plan and project processes and standards.
• Works to develop and train subordinates.
• Assists the Head of the I&C Discipline Department in various departmental activities.
• Manages and controls material quantities. Verifies and enforces procedures, standards, and regulations.
The experience shall include:
>7 years of experience developing I&C engineering documentation in a technical office
>4 years of experience in instrumentation, control, or automation projects in the process industry.
Advantageous: Work or practical experience in the pharmaceutical sector, especially in the field of automation.
MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.);
Adobe Acrobat;
Knowledge of AutoCAD or µStation;
Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (Intools)
