We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in cloud migration projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a proven track record of migrating legacy systems to the cloud. Experience with mainframe systems is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration projects from on-premise or legacy systems to AWS. Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures. Collaborate with development teams to modernize and migrate .NET/Mainframe-based applications to AWS. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Optimize cloud usage and costs through automation and monitoring. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. (Optional) Interface with mainframe systems during migration or integration phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, SQS, SNS etc.). Strong AWS experience, including EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, Glue, and CloudWatch for logging and monitoring. Intermediate experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Experience with AWS MWAA, AWS Aurora Postgres, and EMR Serverless for data pipeline management. Proven experience in cloud migration projects, including rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring.Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline). Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless architectures. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
