Lead HVAC Engineer

Location: Lyon, France
Contract duration: 6 months (can be extended)

Role Overview Conduct HVAC design studies and draft HVAC automation documents. Design air handling systems, including sizing and drafting technical files. Create Cause & Effect Charts, HVAC Control specifications, I/O Lists, and Control logic diagrams. Interface with Project Management teams and other engineering disciplines. Participate in coordination meetings to ensure project alignment. Apply methods and study rules specific to HVAC engineering and project requirements. Work on multiple projects simultaneously based on input data maturity.
Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in the study and design of HVAC industrial plants. Fluent in French and confirmed proficiency in English. Strong knowledge of HVAC automation and technical drafting (Autocad). Proficiency in Office Pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an HVAC team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education & Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in HVAC design for industrial applications. Certifications: Relevant certifications in HVAC engineering or related fields are advantageous.
