Essential Responsibilities
Provide oversight of one or more Payroll process(s) including work direction, prioritization, and troubleshooting assistanceUtilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.Manage third party administrators/vendors/internal business sources (Affiliates, Benefits, Exec Comp) sending payroll deductions and earnings, manage and support Global Payroll Input Tool Serve as escalation points to resolve issues or determine remediation steps, payroll approvalsManual Retro Pay and Retro Deduction Calculations - pre-Workday , and arrears managementAbsence Management support, PTO, PFL, PSL, Short- and long-term disability pay integrationMaintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and GE Vernova policy requirementsManage metrics, monthly reviews, escalations, disaster recovery testing, and year-end coordinationDevelop broad knowledge of processing procedures to ensure successful executionDevelop broad knowledge of GME payroll processing procedures to ensure successful execution. Deep understanding of taxation and payment rulesDrive increased productivity and compliance through process improvements, standardization, and simplificationWork collaboratively across internal teams and establish strong working relationships with the business and key stakeholders in solving complex issuesResolve complex processing issues and escalations for internal and external customers while promoting “Best in Class” customer serviceQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant work experience). All candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR Operations/Lifecycle or related work experiencePrior professional work experience with demonstrated achievement in Payroll & Benefits, and/or Operations/Service-oriented environmentDesired Characteristics
CPP designation (USA)Strong customer service focus, with the ability to anticipate customer needs with a high level of responsivenessProficiency in HR systems (ex.
