Role Summary We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead HR Generalist / Lead People Partner to be the primary HR point of contact for our Belgrade operations, supporting 120+ employees. This critical role is instrumental in fostering a positive, compliant work environment, driving HR initiatives, and providing comprehensive HR support across the entire employee lifecycle, leveraging the expertise of our global HR Centers of Excellence. Responsibilities HR Partnership & Advisory: Serve as the lead HR advisor for the Belgrade site, providing expert guidance to employees and leadership on all people topics, policies, and best practices. Proactively identify and address HR challenges, developing solutions aligned with company goals. Partner closely with Legal Counsel on complex employee relations matters and policy interpretation, ensuring robust compliance with all relevant local labor laws and regulations. Translate global HR strategies into effective local initiatives and actively drive company culture and values. Employee Lifecycle Management & Operations: Manage end-to-end new hire processes, as well as own/improve the onboarding program in collaboration with the L&D team. Oversee all employment administration, and ensure policy adherence. Lead organizational changes, including role and compensation adjustments, in partnership with the Comp team, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication. Manage all local employee relations cases, guiding managers and ensuring strict adherence to local labor laws and company policies, with support from Legal Counsel as needed. Collaborate closely with our global Compensation, Benefits and Payroll teams to provide on-the-ground support for employee inquiries. Leverage and optimize HR technology (e.g., Workday, HR ticketing system) to streamline HR processes, enhance employee experience, and improve data accuracy across all lifecycle stages. Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends, inform retention strategies, and draw actionable insights for continuous improvement of the employee experience. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist/People Partner experience, with a strong emphasis on managing the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Proven experience working in an international environment , navigating cross-cultural dynamics. In-depth knowledge of Serbian HR best practices and labor environment Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and influence effectively with all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to senior leadership. Strong Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to analyze complex HR issues, identify root causes, and develop practical, legally sound, and business-oriented solutions independently. Proactive & Self-Directed: Highly organized, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in an autonomous environment with minimal supervision. Adaptability & Resilience: Thrives in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment inherent to tech companies; able to manage ambiguity and navigate challenging situations with a calm and professional demeanor. Integrity & Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and ethics. Collaboration: Strong team player with a proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and global Centers of Excellence.
