Siemens is looking for lead Hardware engineers to design, prototype, develop hardware systems to Siemens industrial devices from multiple Business units such as Factory automation, Mobility, Smart grid infrastructure, etc. We are a team of electronics hardware design and firmware engineers. The team is involved in all aspects of electronic hardware and firmware design from Schematics, Layout, PCB to firmware and basic software development, integration, and testing.

We are looking for Hardware Engineer

You’ll make a difference by:

Preparing, reviewing and releasing of all product documentation, including specifications, design files, and user manuals. Developing and implementing testing methodology to ensure product reliability and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ability to work in a team, ability to communicate, stress resistance, strong dedication to reach the interpersonal goals. Maintaining effective communications- both verbal & written with customers, team members and multi-functional team members. Provide regular update to leadership team on technical status and project risks. Being hardworking and willing to mentor people and provide technical guidelines to engineering teams, ensuring alignment to industry standards practices. Having strong understanding of EMI/EMC standards and testing methods. Conduct EMI/EMC testing on prototypes and production products to ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., FCC, CISPR, IEC). Collaborating with design teams to implement practices in EMI/EMC design, including circuit layout, shielding, and grounding techniques. Fixing and resolving EMI/EMC issues identified during testing or reported by customers, providing effective solutions to enhance product performance. Having proficiency with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and EMI/EMC chambers.

Holding a Graduate - Bachelors in Electronics / Electrical Engineering with experience of 10-13 years in Hardware Design, system design, electronics design, architecture, and validation Having experience in developing sophisticated measurement systems involving sensing, electronics, and signal conditioning. Collaborating with mechanical, layout, and firmware engineers to optimally develop and validate the designs. Possessing strong board (HW/SW/FW) debug knowledge. Being passionate about engineering and have a strong proactive strive to provide solutions Having ability to understand stated requirements and hardware architectures Exhibiting solid understanding of hardware design flow (Circuit simulation, Schematic bring together, Layout) & experience in any commercial enterprise grade schematic capture tool (Altium preferred), microcontroller architectures (any one of ARM, AVR, MSP430, 8051 and its variants) Having good knowledge of electronic circuit design using signal chain building blocks like Op-Amps, ADCs & DACs Possessing understanding of power electronics principles, including control strategies and component selection for DC-DC converters (Buck/Boost/Flyback/LDO). Analyzing analog & mixed signal electronic circuits using error budgets, Performance analysis, Sensitivity analysis etc. Exhibiting strong analog circuit simulation skills using SPICE (any variant, LTSPICE preferred) Involved in prototyping, validation and solving of electronic circuits Performing failure analysis and corrective actions for the hardware/component level issues Possessing experience with wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi). Commanding experience working with cloud and Edge IoT systems like AWS, Azure Cloud, GCP etc.
