Lead Hand Carpenter

Location: Metro Vancouver (Coquitlam, Surrey, Delta, Vancouver)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Hand Carpenter to join our team and take charge of mid-rise multifamily residential, parkade, and commercial construction projects. If you have a strong background in concrete formwork and a passion for leading crews to deliver exceptional results, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll DoLead and mentor a crew of 5–6 carpenters on vertical and horizontal formwork projects.Build and install formwork for concrete structures including walls, columns, and slabs.Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet deadlines.Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and best practices.What We’re Looking For5+ years of carpentry formwork experience.1+ year of leadership experience managing a crew.Proven experience in mid-rise or high-rise construction.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Fall Protection Certification (required).Nice-to-Have SkillsHigh-rise construction expertise.Advanced formwork and concrete knowledge.Strong carpentry and finishing skills.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits.Opportunities for career growth in a dynamic, supportive environment.Comprehensive health and safety training provided.Work on exciting projects across Metro Vancouver.
