Lead Financial Reporting Analyst - Houston, TX

As a Lead Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Accounting of cross-segment transactions via process called cross business schedule (CBS) involving various types of transactions such as equity and cost method investments, capital infusions, dividends distributions, acquisitions/dispositions and maintaining relevant governing policies

Leading quarterly and year-end analysis necessary for Baker Hughes consolidated financial statement and reporting requirements

Managing consolidated investment database ensuring accuracy and understanding of the QoQ & vOB balance drivers and summarizing those into quarterly senior leadership presentation packs.

Coordinating with segment controllership teams as required to obtain information relevant for the financial close and related analysis.

Working closely with the Corporate Cashflow Statement Leader to prepare the cash flow statement, adjustments and analysis assuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment to relevant GAAP literature.

Partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax and other functions as needed to support the Corporate Financial Reporting team.

Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Have experience in Financial Reporting

 Have excellent communications and leadership skills.

Be able to demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Be able to demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects.

Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
