Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN.

The Lead Financial Analyst- Merchandising will provide strategic decision support and be a trusted business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. This successful teammate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes.

Ensure financial results are reported timely, accurately, and in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets.

Develop complex financial models.

Possesses strong analytical & evaluation skills.

Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business.

Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.

Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Identify and implement process improvements.

Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA a plus

Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience

Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience

Analytical skills, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience. Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with large amounts of data from various sources

Ability to work with and communicate effectively with peers and business leaders to gain support for the execution of strategies and initiatives that need to be implemented

Experience creating Power BI Dashboards is a plus
