The Lead Financial Analyst- Merchandising will provide strategic decision support and be a trusted business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. This successful teammate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance. **Responsibilities** + Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes. + Ensure financial results are reported timely, accurately, and in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). + Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets. + Develop complex financial models. + Possesses strong analytical & evaluation skills. + Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business. + Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. + Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad-hoc basis. + Identify and implement process improvements. + Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA a plus + Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience + Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience + Analytical skills, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience.
