Lead - Facilities Operations (T1)

Facility Operations Planning:

Develops long-term facilities plans aligned with the airport's strategic goals & conducts feasibility studies for new facilities and expansions.

Oversees facility space utilization and optimization to maximize efficiency and passenger experience.

Facility Maintenance:

Ensure all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Directly supervises the maintenance team, schedules work, and assigns tasks related to repairs and preventive maintenance.

Regulatory Compliance:

Monitor and ensure that all processes, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions comply with regulatory guidelines and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess adherence to established protocols, ensuring a consistent focus on enhancing customer experience.

Emergency Preparedness:

Develops and maintains comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents & conducts regular emergency drills and training.

Ensures coordination with other departments for effective emergency response.

Vendor Evaluation and Management:

Manages relationships with external facility service providers and contractors & ensures compliance with contracts and service level agreements.

Conducts vendor performance evaluations and selects qualified vendors based on quality and cost-effectiveness.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) for facilities operations & collects and analyzes data to measure performance and identify improvement areas.

Prepares regular reports on facility performance and presents findings to management.

Stakeholder and Customer Collaboration:

Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders & represents the facilities department in cross-functional teams.

Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless facility operations and support.

Support initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience within airport facilities by ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of designated areas. Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely response to service requests and assist in gathering feedback to identify improvement opportunities aligned with customer expectations.

Team Leadership and Development:

Supervises and manages the facility operations team, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and discipline.

Leads and motivates the facility operations team to achieve operational excellence & builds a high-performing team through training and development.

Digital Mindset:

Evaluates and implements new technologies and process Improvement ideas to improve facility management efficiency & leverages technology to enhance facility performance and maintenance.

Develops and implements digital solutions for facility management tasks.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Facility Management, or a related field is essential.

Master’s Degree in Facilities Management or Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

Work Experience:

10+ years of experience in facility management or a related field, with a strong focus on managing large-scale facilities.
