Position Overview:As Lead Expert Quality Assurance within the Quality department (covering both QA and QC), you will ensure the release of safe and high-quality products, promote a quality culture throughout the site, and support the QA team in their key responsibilities. This role reports directly to the Assurance and QC Manager and is expected to evolve into a Responsable Qualité (Quality Manager) position in 2–4 years.
Missions – Responsibilities:Manage OOS (Out of Specification) and deviations. Lead/coordinate major investigations with the site or group. Analyze data and draft reports to support product release decisions.
Lead the quality culture project across sites, including onboarding and training of new employees.
Support QA team members on audits, CAPA, HACCP planning, equipment and supplier integration, validation, and change management.
Lead meetings on OOS and deviation management.
Act as the right hand of the Quality Manager.
Serve as the main contact for Planning, Scheduling, and Product Management for product release and inventory under analysis.
Qualifications and Experience:Master’s degree or Engineering diploma in Life Sciences or a related field.
10–15 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, ideally in biotechnology, food, or related industries.
Recognized leadership qualities: inspiring, motivating, assertive communication, curiosity, and openness.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Able to prioritize effectively and proficient in digital tools/systems.
Ready to lead the QA department within 2–4 years.
Fluent in English and French.
