The following position is to join the RTX Corporate Team:
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead ETL Developer to join our data engineering team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining robust data integration solutions to support enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern cloud data platforms, strong ETL design capabilities, and a deep understanding of dimensional modeling using the Kimball methodology.
What You Will Do
Conduct meetings and workshops with business teams to gather, clarify, and validate data and reporting requirements.Analyze business information needs and perform thorough source data profiling and gap analysis.Identify and document business transformation rules and logic required for data integration.Collaborate with business stakeholders and data architects to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from systems including ADP Enterprise, Workday, SAP ERP, and SuccessFactors to extract and map data in the required formats.Design and implement scalable, cloud-native ETL pipelines using Matillion, integrating data into the Snowflake data warehouse.Create and manage Snowflake databases, warehouses, schemas, and objects such as tables and views.Design and develop dimensional data models based on the Kimball methodology in collaboration with Business Analysts and stakeholders.Build orchestration workflows and transformation mappings to enable efficient ETL loads.Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug ETL jobs to ensure high data quality, performance, and reliability.Design and implement secure data pipelines, ensuring compliance with data governance, access controls, and quality standards.Document ETL processes and data models to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.Work closely with BI, Data Science, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet business data consumption needs.Support quality assurance efforts by participating in test plan creation, execution, and issue resolution.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment activities.Oversee and monitor production data loads, ensuring timely data delivery for downstream systems and users.Provide leadership to offshore resources by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely deliverables.Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.Experience in the following:-Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS (S3)-Data Warehousing: Snowflake-ETL / Orchestration Tools: Matillion-Databases: Oracle 19c, Azure SQL Server-Languages & Scripting: SQL, Python-Modeling & BI Tools: SQL Data Modeler, Qlik SenseQualifications We Prefer
Proven experience with Snowflake and Matillion in cloud-based data environments.Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT best practices, data warehousing principles, and data modeling.Excellent SQL and scripting skills for data processing and transformation.Strong understanding of data governance, access control, and data quality principles.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
