This exciting role offers opportunity to** :
+ Strategic: Development and governance of the SPL-Electrical Library for ES-A (model development for re-use, cross divisional evaluation of re-usable opportunities, model documentation, governance - major task mapping different implementations across divisions, consolidate requirements for reusable blocks and implement them);
+ MBD EIIC mentoring for ES-A: develop junior engineer base (trainings, coaching / mentoring / support) and will drive all MBD project needs from EIIC (leading MBD implementation, technical reviews, hands-on work when necessary) - Any new FW project from Pune (allowing to expand more projects with MBD in EIIC and with a close support and control)
+ Develop and maintain the MBD framework documents, guidelines, templates, artifacts required to deploy the MBD Maturity Model in conjunction with the Chiefs.
+ Drive the MBD DevOps continuous improvement for ES-A - including evolution, updates, debugs, and help on deployment / governance across ES-A.

+ Master’s Degree in Power Electronics/Control Systems and Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
+ 10 + years
+ Hands on working knowledge in Model Based Control Design competencies such as below:
+ Architecture & Design: Strong understanding and experience with System and software architectural methods and representations ex SysML, UML. Ability to represent these in modern tools such as System Composer, Rapsody etc.
+ Control Systems Modeling: Strong understanding and experience in using tools like Simulink and/or Stateflow for complex controls modeling, Familiarity with MathWorks tools like Model Advisor and SLDV for design and verification, and MIL testing using Simulink Test.
+ MBD Process and Infrastructure: Strong understanding and experience with establishing state of art software policies and process around Model based design is required. Requirement, architecture, design, code and test methods and best practices.
+ This process will establish the baseline inputs for enterprise automation infrastructure.
+ Experience with industrial standards for software development (DO178C, A-Spiece, etc) is desired.
+ CICT & Source control automation: Understanding and experience with GitHub and GitHub actions preferred.
**Skills:**
+ Requirements Engineering: Familiar with tools like DNG, Jama, Doors, and Simulink Requirements for driving low-level/algorithm requirements.
+ Firmware Integration and testing: Strong background embedded C/C++, microprocessors, including floating point and fixed-point implementations and integration of Auto-Generated Code with handwritten SW (ex. Use of Code Wrappers for auto-generated code); Proficient with SW testing tools related to Static and Dynamic Analysis.
+ Model and Software Simulation: Experience with controls simulation, integration of Model Based Controls with Plant Models for co-simulation. Experience of integrating C-code with Simulink (ex. Using S-functions), allowing simulation of integrated Firmware structures (Auto-code + handwritten code).
+ Model and Software Simulation: Familiar with controls simulation and integrating Model Based Controls with Plant Models for co-simulation. o Workflow Bridging: Ability to work with different workflows, such as V-Cycle and Agile approaches.
+ Development Tools: Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, GitHub.
+ Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts.
+ Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team, contribute to discussions, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
+ Mentoring and Coaching: Experience in guiding and mentoring junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
+ Project Ownership: Accountability and ownership of projects from conception to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with business goals.
