Lead Engineer- Mechanical

**What you’ll do:**
We are looking for motivated professionals with strong skills to lead the multiple projects related with development of Busways in accordance with UL standards to meet market needs, within budget, on-time and with required level of quality. Provide mentorship to team for building knowledge base around LV assemblies and components.
**Technical :**
+ Excellent expertise in developing Busway Rating of 50A-4000A. The targeted applications are such as Data center, Industrial, Commercial buildings of North America.
+ Having an intensive knowledge in UL 857 & CSA C22,2 No. 27 standards to test and qualify the assemblies as per North America standards.
+ Responsible for design engineering analysis on Busbar design, mechanism, housing ,sheet metal etc. A strong electromechanical design knowledge and system integration
+ Lead multiple projects/programs/teams through execution of these programs/projects in a timely manner, supporting the business goals
+ Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process
+ Review new product development using appropriate tools and techniques such as DFSS, DFR, DMAIC, Tolerance stack-up etc. Should have good understanding of Design for manufacturing and assembly.
+ Review reliability predictions, Design Failure Modes and Effects analysis (FMEA) and structural/thermal/CFD/MBD results.
+ Develops test plans for short circuit, temperature rise, arc test in accordance with IEC/UL standards.
**Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering in Mechanical/Electrical
• 10 to 12 Years of Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing LV Busways electrical products
• Experience technically guiding a team through all stages of the prodcut development cycle
• Experience in short circuit, temperature rise, arc test, test duties in accordance with IEEE/IEC/UL standards
• Knowledge in Agile ProLaunch and PreLaunch processes
• Experience in product costing and analyzing cost break-up due to various manufacturing processes/design features
**Skills:**
• Sound technical knowledge in LV electrical products - Preferrably switchgear assemblies and components such as circuit breakers, switches, Busway, Panels and Switch gear
• Extensive experience with product design, technology exploration, agile methodologies
• Hands on experience of working in plants, resolving technical issues, driving LEAN, DFSS certified
• Thorough understanding of IEEE standards, Type test certification, 3D modelling/drafting & SAP knowledge
